Level Meter

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Level Meter for iPhone, iPad, and Android handles motion readings, spoken guidance, and in-app advertising.

Last updated: April 24, 2026

At a glance

  • Level Meter works without creating an account.
  • Tilt and calibration readings are processed on your device.
  • We use advertising services that may process identifiers and diagnostics.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Level Meter for iPhone, iPad, and Android, and to any related support pages operated by ToBeWise Inc.

2. Information we process

The app is designed to work without sign-up or account creation. We do not ask you to create a profile, and we do not maintain a server-side measurement history for the core level function.

  • Device motion and tilt readings used to show level information on screen
  • Calibration settings saved locally on your device
  • App preferences such as spoken guidance on or off

3. Motion sensors and spoken guidance

Level Meter uses your device motion sensors to measure tilt. Those readings are processed locally to render the circular, horizontal, and vertical meters and to generate spoken guidance such as directional adjustments and angle amounts.

Spoken guidance uses text-to-speech features provided by your platform. The app does not record microphone input and does not upload sensor readings to ToBeWise Inc. servers for the core measurement experience.

4. Advertising

Level Meter includes banner advertising. We use third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob. Depending on your device, region, consent choices, and final ad configuration, these services may process information such as advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, diagnostics, and ad interaction data in order to deliver, limit, measure, or protect ads.

We do not directly control all data practices of those third-party services. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy terms.

5. Permissions

On iPhone and iPad, the app requests motion access so it can read tilt data. On Android, the app accesses available motion sensors provided by the operating system. The app does not require account, contact, photo library, or microphone access for its normal operation.

6. Data sharing

We share information only as needed to operate third-party services built into the app, such as advertising and related fraud prevention or measurement services. We do not sell your personal information.

7. Retention

Because the core measurement experience runs locally, most app state stays on your device unless a third-party service processes it under its own policy. If you remove the app, locally stored preferences and calibration data are removed with it unless your device restores them from backup.

8. Children's privacy

Level Meter is a general utility app and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe personal information has been provided to us inappropriately, please contact us and we will review the request.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page.

10. Contact

For privacy questions or support questions, contact [email protected] or visit the Level Meter support page.
